And other Stuck Sketch Layout!

I finally did the Dec. 1st Sketch Layout from Stuck Sketchs.

This is my niece again :) Paper is New from the Best of K Stack. I used some purple prima flowers i had in my stash. Some random fibers. And a metal title also from my stash these were out of the package so not 100% sure of the manufacture.

You can see the sketch here.

I did not get this one done in time for the Dec. Challenge But I am Glad ot have completed an other layout. And thankful to Stuck Sketches for the inspiration!

Layout w/ Stuck Sketches Dec. 15th Sketch

So i keep finding tons and tons of stamping and card challenges and sketches. Randomly yesterday i found a layout blog. I was so happy, i immediately traced the two current sketches and went into the craft room. :) I finished up my first layout!

This is my Niece in 9/2000 i have a lot of older photos of her given to me by her mom. That i am making a scrapbook for. And the book is 8.5x11 so this layout fits that format. To see the sketch that was use please visit

They have some really awesome ones.
I used some New K& Company Paper i just recently purchased the Best of K Stack
And i used a Bohemian Die Cut Title I had recently rediscovered when Organizing. (don't u luv finding goodies that way hehe)
I cut out the flower from one of the papers, that i fell in love with and made them work here.
I used some felt ribbon i had and hand sewed some sequins on top.

A Christmas Layout - Challenge Entries

OK so this Layout is well over due. it is from Christmas 2004. Yes i said 2004! I decided i will not scrap this years photos until i catch up with the ones i already have printed. So organized all my old Prints. And decided to start with the Christmas ones, so i can put my Christmas Stuff Away later this week.  So i noticed the Challenge at Sketches in Thyme. And decided this was perfect. I have to say i really struggled on picking a sketch. Its been a while since i worked with a sketch. But it defiantly gave me some guidance. And i actually completed a 2 Page Layout. YEAH! for that. Now i have 5 less photos in my Stash :)

The Sketch i Used was from CTMH Cherish Book - Dynamic Design on pg 117
Supplies: MME - Sweet Dreams Holiday Ave Paper & La Petites from paper Studio Stickers (was in my stash)

Challenge Entries:
Sketches in Thyme: Open Challenge #2 - Use any Sketch
Stampavie - Use Stamp & Red (used my CTMH stamp to create lines for journaling)

Paper Issues: Anything Goes
My Son's Nasser - Native American Report

My 4th Grader, Had to do a Report-Project on a California Native American Tribe of his Choice.
So after a lil research we decided to go with the Cupeno's. Yes I helped him create a Paper Bag Album. His Second Dad (we don't believe in steps lol) bought him a Map also that he could point at during his presentation. He did do alot of this project himself. Most of my help was actually in the research, helping him find the info, print it, highlight the stuff he needed to included etc. I think i was the one who winded up knowing way more about Native Americans in California then he did. It sure did feel like Homework for me, but i did enjoy helping him. On the Paper Bag Album, I put the Album together w/ background papers, glued the stick and feathers he collected from a park. And he did the rest. I did help him organize his items, to make sure he got the right info with the right photos. Oh and of course i provided the supplies. So at last here is his Project :0)

Finally Completed my Project

I have worked on this long and hard. And I finally completed it today. It is a Sign to go outside of my Craft Room Entrance. It says Mom's Workshop (like Santa's Workshop) and of course its decorated with all Christmas Themes. And I just luv it. I am entering it into a bunch of Challenges on different Blogs. This took so much work and effort. Especially the hand beading. Check out below for some Close Up Images. For whatever reason all my Zoom Out Shots came out pretty blurry. But the close ups came out pretty decent.

The Base for This Project is a Cookie Sheet. I Modge Podges Some Christmas MME Papers on to it. Used some left over white swirl ribbon from my Wedding on the edges. And then hand sew'd Green Beads on the edge where the Paper Met the Ribbon (this took me forever and a sore neck) I almost didn't want to use the tray as a base anymore once it was done. It was so Pretty LOL.
The Ribbons are cut from Super Thick Chipboard off left over Paper Stacks. I used my Cutter Bees Scissors (they Rock)

Everything On this Project was in my Stash, thats the best Part. The Paper is more recent (black friday Micheal sales 50% off paper stacks + 25% off total purchase, i got 10 different stacks)

MPS Color Challenge

I created this card for the My Pink Stamper Challenges Yesterday! But i could not get the photos to load until this morning. The color challange was to create a card with. 2 shades of pink and 2 shades of blue, and u can use black.

The stamps i used are from a CTMH princess set. Paper is shimmer bazzil cardstock. The flower petals i had for a while and do not remember the brand name.

I used a blue stripe paper in the inside from the current MME Holiday stack. I inked all my edges with cat eye chalks. I left the title section blank becuase i was not sure if this would be a Thank You card or what, so i figured to let it be.
